Product good but delivery not great

3-5 days quoted for delivery actually took 2 weeks as carrier cancelled first delivery due to product not having been supplied [email protected] Furnituremax. Numerous phone calls were made and eventually the problem was sorted. However pleased with product when it arrived.

Great bit of furniture

The furniture itself is great, strong construction and really comfortable. The instructions were a bit unclear and I was missing some of the hardware needed to put it together, but B&Q stock the parts so I was able to finish the job.

Perfect relaxing space

Absolutely thrilled with my 8 seater rattan sat. Really comfortable to lounge about, enjoy family time and entertain. Had nothing but compliments from visitors who have said how comfortable it is and comments on the nice colours.

Good product but communication could be improved

The product was exactly as described . It arrives in 3 large cardboard boxes . It takes around 90 mins to put together and two people are better than one as it is easier for one person to hold the various parts that are being assembled whilst the other inserts and tightens the various nuts and bolts that hold it all together. My only criticism was the lack of communication as far as delivery was concerned. The estimated quoted delivery period on the order acknowledgement was 6 weeks . It was actually delivered within 14 days . Although the email confirmation of delivery option was requested (as opposed to text) at the time the order was placed this did not happen and the only communication received was two texts from the courier company which gave 18 hours notice of delivery. Not sure what would have happened if I was away on holiday!

We got there in the end!

After a not so good start in terms of lack of communication, we got there. Furniture delivered (good communication regarding the delivery). It took us quite a while to put the furniture together as the instructions are not great. Just ambiguous pictures with no written dialect. Anyway, once put together, we are happy with our purchase but the communication could be way better. You are also dealing with 2 companies which makes it confusing too.
